neuroSense is a project devoted to how we process the world. These notes and illustrations were developed during my undergraduate neuroscience courses at Dartmouth College. I’m sharing them freely because I believe neuroscience should be widely available, not locked behind classrooms or textbooks. Our minds shape every part of who we are, and the more people who can explore this, the more curiosity, empathy, and innovation we can inspire.

theEar begins the neuroSense project. How does the brain encode sound? What does it mean to listen? - A guided journey through the elegant machinery of our auditory and vestibular systems! Learn how we hear and stay balanced in a world full of motion.
Hello, I'm Amethyst! Coder, designer, illustrator — and the curious mind behind neuroSense <3 I’m a recent Dartmouth graduate from Barbados, where I studied Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Music. I love making the brain (and technology!) more intuitive, visual, and human. Find me doodling, debugging (sigh), or blasting Beethoven in the shower. Inspired to collaborate? Let’s connect!
